Today, one of the UK’s most successful broadcasters Nick Grimshaw and much-loved chef and restaurateur Angela Hartnett OBE return to host series 2 of their critically acclaimed weekly podcast, Dish, brought to you by Waitrose and produced by Somethin:Else Creative Studio.
The pair invite listeners to pull up a seat at the table for delicious food, drink, and unfiltered, hilarious chat alongside some very special guests. The series will kick off on 5 October with Rylan Clark where he talks about a bad fish experience, finding a snake, getting mugged by a fox, Eurovision 2023, Big Brother, Caroline Flack, and his iconic X Factor scene with Nicole Scherzinger.
While Michelin star chef Angela will be making and serving incredible dishes, sharing tips, and recommending delicious Waitrose recipes, Radio 1 alumni, Grimmy (who put his novice cooking skills to the test on The Great British Bake Off last year) will be sticking to serving the drinks and interviewing their special guests.
They will be joined at the table by some of their favourite people including British actor David Harewood, chef Yotam Ottolenghi, fellow cook Nadiya Hussain, American actor Stanley Tucci, comedian Russell Howard, musicians Frankie Bridge and Martin Kemp, author and podcaster Dolly Alderton and presenter Vernon Kay.
Nick Grimshaw, said: “So excited to be back for another series of Dish! Getting to work alongside the legendary and hilarious Angela Hartnett has been a total joy. I can’t wait to get going on another series, this one promises Stanley Tucci so I am beside myself. See you in the kitchen.”
Angela who has worked with everyone (both on and off screen) from Gordon Ramsay to Mary Berry adds, “Working with Nick on this has been hysterical, I spend the whole time laughing. What’s not to love about cooking, eating, drinking, and chatting with our dream dinner-party guests? I hope everyone enjoys it; as much as we did recording it...”

About Angela Hartnett
Angela Hartnett, OBE, is one of the UK’s most-loved chefs and restaurateurs, known for her sophisticated yet simple Italian-inspired cooking.
Born in Britain, her passion for good, honest food and the best ingredients was instilled in her by her Italian grandmother and mother. Working with Gordon Ramsay for many years, she launched Amaryllis inScotland, Verre in Dubai, and Menu and The Grill Room at the Connaught. In 2007 Angela was awarded an MBE for services to the hospitality industry, and the following year she opened her own restaurant, Murano, in Mayfair. Angela now remains Chef Proprietor and Murano holds a Michelin star and 4 AA rosettes.
In 2013 Angela launched the critically acclaimed Cafe Murano in St James’s, the first little sister to Murano. In 2015 a second Cafe Murano opened on Tavistock Street, Covent Garden, and in 2019 Angela opened a third Cafe Murano, on London’s Bermondsey Street.
Angela is a regular on UK television, often appearing on Great British Menu, MasterChef, and Saturday Kitchen, as well as being one of the judges for BBC’s Best Home Cook. She was awarded an OBE in 2022 for her services to the hospitality industry and to the NHS throughout the pandemic.
Angela has three cookbooks to her name, Cucina (2007) and Angela’s Kitchen (2011), The Weekend Cook, Good Food for Real Life (2022) all published by Ebury.
About Nick Grimshaw
Nick Grimshaw has worked in the UK broadcast industry for over 16 years and is firmly established as one of the country’s most successful radio and TV personalities. Most recently, he has co-hosted the home make-over show The Great Home Transformation with Emma Willis for C4 and his debut non-fiction book, Soft Lad, will be published this October.
In 2006, Nick was spotted by Channel 4 and went on to present for E4 Music and Freshly Squeezed before being signed up by BBC2 to co-host youth music show Sound, alongside Radio 1's Annie Mac. The pair's chemistry proved a hit with listeners and soon saw Nick join Annie on Radio 1, co-hosting the Sunday evening Switch youth strand. Nick's Radio 1 career went from strength to strength and over the next 14 years, he hosted the station's flagship Breakfast Show for six years, as well as Drive Time, the Weekend Breakfast Show, and the late evening New Music slot.
Alongside radio, Nick has presented numerous TV shows, live events, and award ceremonies. These have included the Radio 1 Teen Awards for nine years, the Elle Style Awards, Children In Need, ITV's The X Factor, BBC1's The One Show and BBC3's Sweat The Small Stuff. He is also a regular contributor on C4's Celebrity Gogglebox with his niece Liv.
