Erica Davies launches second collection with John Lewis
- John Lewis and fashion editor Erica Davies launch their second collaboration
- New range introduces cocktail coats and expands on line of stylish boots for wider calves
- The coats will be available to rent on the newly launched rental platform johnlewisrental.com.
On 11th October, John Lewis & Partners will launch the second collaboration with fashion editor and stylist, Erica Davies. Following the sell-out success in Autumn / Winter 2021, this new collection builds on Erica’s inspiration from her followers and their desire to find stylish options of more inclusive fitting boots on the high street. This season John Lewis + Erica Davies will also introduce a capsule collection of cocktail coats to style with the boots, making those going out moments even more special.
There are 16 pairs of boots, all with a more inclusive fitting calf size, that span a number of hero styles as well as the classic block heel. New for this season are the platform boots (available in metallic gold or patent options) as well as an elegant knee high flat boot in the perfect tone of blush pink.
The twelve statement coats are inspired by vintage glamour and the collection is filled with joyful colour, embellishment and pattern. These versatile pieces are there to be worn and loved and will be the perfect coat to dress up and wear to a winter wedding or black tie event, as well as over your jeans to the supermarket.
We are excited to announce that the full range of coats will be available to hire on the newly launched rental platform (http://rental.johnlewis.com/) allowing customers to add joy to their wardrobes in a more sustainable and affordable way.
Erica Davies said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be sharing the announcement of our second collection, a more inclusively sized range of boots with the ultimate aim of bringing fashion joy to more of us. The first range was a huge success and I always knew we could build on that. This season we have increased the size range (on selected boots), brought in more trend-led colours as well as more versatile classics.
“I am so proud of this collection and hope you love wearing them for years to come. I am also incredibly excited to introduce the cocktail coat collection and I am thrilled that they will be part of the new John Lewis rental service. I can’t wait to see you in them!”
The collection will be available to buy from 11th October on johnlewis.com and in 15 selected stores.
